1. Will it really help me?

If you having trouble with your history class for example you probably don't need a tutor. Lets face it, any of the information you need is in a book or on the internet and just requires you applying yourself.

Well that's really up to you and what you put into it. I think tutor's are great and try to spread the word that they can help anyone. Even a person in a doctorate will sometimes need another person to tutor them, not on basics but on the concepts that come with higher learning.
